How to Forge

Forge Theater offers meeting space and studio rentals to members and outside groups for mission related activities.

Please review our available space, including amenities, fees and suitable uses below.

Members are free to book space at will. Bookings for non-members can be made after contacting the Manager (manager@forgetheatercollaborative.com or call/text 734-219-9434).

NOTE: Forge Theater is also open to classes and workshops by members and non-members. Guidelines for proposing educational offerings are coming soon!

Meeting Area

Amenities:

Fees:

$20/hour - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Wednesday, 6pm to 11pm, Sunday, 10am to 11pm, Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm.
Unavailable for separate rental - Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6pm to 11pm.

Suitable Use

The meeting area is available for classes/workshops, creative meetings, read-throughs, seated rehearsals, and other mission related activities.

Studio

Amenities:

Basic lights (8 Par54 cans) and sound (two speakers, one cabled microphone) equipment with boards.
Flexible seating for up to 40+.
4 music stands.
61 key electric keyboard.
Small backstage area with seating for actors/crew.
Stage area of 20’ by 10’ and flush with the floor.
Three folding conference tables, 12 folding metal chairs.

Coming Soon:

Backstage curtain.
Studio curtains.

Fees:

$50/hour - Studio rental for peak times (Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings, Sunday matinee)
$30/hour - Studio space for off peak times

Suitable Use:

The Studio may be used for auditions, classes/workshops, performances*, presentations, private events, rehearsals, and video production/viewing. (*Service fees may apply.)

Lobby

Amenities:

WiFi.
Drinks and snacks for sale.

Coming Soon:

Additional casual seating.
Space heaters.

Fees:

No separate fees.
Lobby space is included in Studio rentals for performances.

Suitable Use

The lobby is open to members for co-working, Mon. - Fri., 8am to 6pm, and Sun. to Wed., 6pm to 11pm.

Manager Office Hours

Want to know more about Forge? Schedule a meeting with Catherine Zudak, the founder and manager. Half hour appointments are available Tuesdays, 6pm to 9pm, Thursdays, 10am to 2pm , and Saturdays by appointment.

Meeting Area

The meeting area is available in one hour time block daily with 30 minutes buffer between each block. When not in use, it can be used as an extension of the lobby.

Studio - Daytime

The studio is available during the day (8am to 5:30pm). Bookings are in 2 hour blocks with 30 minutes between each block.

Studio - Evening

The studio is available in two blocks of 6pm to 8:25pm and 8:35pm to 11pm, Monday to Saturday. It is available Sunday in two blocks of 5:30pm to 7:55 and 8:05pm to 10:30pm.

Odd Times

Need to use space at odd times? Like before 8am or after 11pm? Or have another special request regarding space and time? Please use our Contact Form. We'll get back to you in 1-2 business days.

Lobby

The lobby is 20' x 10' with some casual seating. It also has snacks and drinks for sale.

Bookings

Members may book hours below at will. Community groups and outside renters should contact manager@forgetheatercollaborative.com or call/text 734/219-9434 before booking the meeting area or studio.
