Jay Whittaker, a 30 year veteran of Shakespearean acting and a recent transplant to Ann Arbor, is offering a six week class, just in time for the summer season of Shakespeare. In this class, Jay will help you brush up your skills and learn to unleash the power of Shakespeare’s language.

About the event
Forge Theater is delighted to host Jay Whittaker's Mastering Shakespeare class, which runs for six weeks on Sundays, 1pm to 3pm, March 22, 29, April 12, 19, 23, and May 3 (no class April 5). The class is limited to 10 participants and the fee is $330. The class is open to actors of all levels. It is ideal for actors looking to prepare for summer Shakespeare auditions, including Shakespeare in the Arb, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, and Shakespeare Royal Oak. It is also beneficial for any actors wanting to further develop their craft for year round work.
