About the event
New and original plays, screenplays, spoken word or other works for performance are read in an informal workshop setting. Actors are seeing the work for the first time. Actors, audience and other playwrights share feedback with the creator to further the development of these works. Hosted by Catherine Zudak, Pass the Hat Promotions.
This month's play, These My Queens, by Sarah Elisabeth Brown, was part of the Theatre Nova's Michigan Playwrights Festival in 2025. The play follows a 90s baby dyke performance artist who falls in love with a budding drag queen, prompting her to question her sexuality.
